Show Description

A split hour of comedy in English from two bilingual comedians about the struggles of life, love and even mundane daily tasks when you feel like a foreigner in your own land.

Emma Buckle and Javier Otero are two half-British comics who identify first and foremost as “batshit crazy”. This split hour promises to split your sides, and will be highly relatable for anyone who has lived in more than one country during their lives, or travelled away from home. They will share some of the cultural and linguistic mishaps they have experienced and ones you should avoid. At best, this will have you laughing in your seat. At worst, it will be an educational journey into English, Spanish and Catalan linguistic and cultural idiosyncrasies…
